Career Highlights:

I have a 20-year career in IMC and public relations in both non-profit and private sectors. I'm skilled in organizational branding, crisis communication, leadership development, advertising, fundraising, social media content development, integrated marketing and communication strategy, media relations and event management. I'm also an Assistant Professor of Communication at Saint Vincent College in Pennsylvania (home of the Fred Rogers Center of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood fame!).

    I aim to support students in learning how to thoroughly investigate, understand and develop amazing strategies for brands through discussion, lecture, practice and theory.

  • Why did you start teaching?

    I started teaching because what I found was most meaningful in my career was working with and serving as a mentor to my interns and early career professionals in IMC.

  • What advice would you give to those considering this online program?

    You will find that the faculty are responsive and caring. Students are responsible, collaborative and supportive of one another. There is a sense of community.

  • What is the one book you think everyone should read?

    Nichomachean Economics by Aristotle

  • Tell us something interesting about yourself that your students might not know about you.

    My B.A. and M.A. are in philosophy, so I really enjoy connecting the practice of IMC with its roots in the humanities tradition, which includes history, science and philosophy.
