Career Highlights:
Dr. Ray Pastore is a Full Professor of Instructional Technology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and program coordinator of the esports management and online teaching and learning minors. He is an active Youtuber with millions of views and thousands of subscribers, an author, and has numerous peer reviewed journal publications. With a background in management consulting, game design, game-based learning, and instructional design he has worked on projects for fortune 100 companies, the military, as well as a myriad of schools and universities. In addition to serving as coordinator of UNCW’s Esports program, Dr. Pastore is faculty advisor for UNCW’s Seahawk Esports Club. He holds a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems from Penn State University.

Dr. Pastore currently lives in the Hampstead/Surf City NC area. He has a wife (Becca), three sons (Kai Mason, River Layne, and Huntington Stiles), two cats (Magic and Midnight), and a dog (Charlie). In his free time he enjoys surfing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Purple Belt), Lifting/Cardio, golfing, painting, gaming, and spending time with his family. Dr. Pastore has published several fiction books and holds top 10 world records in video games such as Atari Space Invaders, Atari Pac Man, and Atari Adventure.
